New here and I don't own an Aprilia....

Hi all. Actually I ride a ZX14 right now, ( great bike by the way) but I have a friend with 2 Tuonos and my son has his heart set on a RSV4.
So, I thought I'd get up to speed on these bikes. I used to be a tech on Triumph, KTM and Ducati.
    Looking forward to learning.

    Mad

Maddevil, welcome to the clan. I've also owned and enjoyed quite a few Kawasakis over the years. Be sure to check in at the V4 Tuono and RSV4 subforums here.

Aprilia makes BRILLIANT bikes... (Source: Iím the President of New Sweden BMW Riders )

But, dealership is even spottier than BMW and that can be a PIA.

Your in extremely good company there Craigo, i don't have an Ape either, after owning 4 over 13 years, I've dabbled down the KTM line. No excuse tho, haven't had a mortgage for 23 years.
"The Earth is our ancestor....A restless Planet is our creator"..............................In the shed...... Multistrada 1200, Termi full system with matching ECU, and ohlins SCU. KTM 640 supermotard, with full titanium system and a shit load of spares. (track bike) and a 1290 GT. Torque monster. Remus link and muffler.

Welcome from another newcomer. I'm only a little hurt that nobody has told me to FO. Looks like you're in. I don't own an Ape either...YET. The ZX is a mean machine. I've ridden Busas for a few years. The big bikes can be coaxed to turn quite well, but it's more of an argument than a love affair.

Welcome from the wet NW (Seattle). I own a first gen '03 Capo and my youngest son is on his second Future and had a '07 Tuono before that one. The magic of the Ape's is absolute telepathic handling. No other bike can match their superb connection to the rider. With all their qwerkiness it is well worth dealing with the foibles for so superior handling. I cannot think of another bike I blended with so we'll and so fast.
I ride 85 miles every day in all the weather and cannot find a better ride through storm and sun. Drive every day no matter what and you will find there are Aprilia's and then all the rest of those other bikes.
