    Newcomer asking for advice

Hello to every Caponord owner around the World!)

Let's say I am not newcomer at this forum (I own Futura for last two years).
By a chance, I have now also Caponord TP. The only problem, that it is a little bit wrecked.
Pictures will give some info, but as for me - there is not so much job no return this lovely bike back in perfect condition again.

The problem is quite typical for aprilia-owners here in Russia - this bikes are quite rare here and it is not easy to find spare parts.

    So, the question is:

Front wheel - is it interchangeable with second generation RSV wheel? I found local (local means inside Russia, but still 2t km from me) seller, who is breaking down 2006 RSVR.

    Would it fit?

Thanks a lot in advance! Any of advices highly appreciated.

l think only the later v4 rsv and tuono wheels may fit. Good luck.

Welcome, it looks like you've taken on quite a project there. Good luck with it.

More or less you are right. Thanks!
I would try to make some kind of blog here to report the progress of the "project".
Main idea, of course, to ride this bike next season, than just to repair)))

Winter here is quite long, so before season start I still have 5 month to do the job.

I started with OEM Aprilia Service Station Manual, downloaded from AF1, Wiring diagram.
Scouting of ebay helped me to find headlight (used), the
Luggage rack (also cracked, thanks to top case).

Now I need all other plastic for front, right front footrest.

Following AF1, the wheel will fit:

    I have same, but black.

Once again, there is no question of the design, only tech parameters.

Hi, Looking at AF1's web page you might find this useful
    http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scrip...Wheels%2C+Gold
The fitment for these wheels seems to cover from the 2005 RSV to the latest models including the Caponord 1200 (but not the Rally version).
    Hope this helps
