    RSV4 RF/RR Exhaust Thread

I know there is a RSV4 exhaust thread that started in 2010.

I figure we can use one specifically for the new RF and RR

Mods, if this thread is too similar to the older one please merge or remove.

So what exhaust is available for the RSV4 RF and do the exhaust for the 2014/2015 RSV4 fit the RF? This is my first RSV4 so i don't know what fits and what doesn't from previous gen.

Please let me know what you would picked or why you picked what you have on your RF/RR.

If i use rabidbike with an after market exhaust do i still need to wait for the race ecu?

So far as far as I have seen there are two:

Akra has a full and a slip on but both are special order. no ECU unlock code is provided and the full system is around $3K slip on is $1K+
Austin Racing has a slip on as well in the $1K+ range...

Ed do you know when the full system will be ready to order? On the AF1 site it shows special order. The pictures above are from the new system part number: S-A10E8-RC

Any idea if austin racing is making a new system for the RF? Just because it fits doesn't make it optimal. I don't like cookie cutter solutions.

First pics of the SC Project Oval racing slip on up on their website. Plans for my RR when it arrives. Site says "street legal" and other slip ons coming soon.... I just cant get over the oversized look of the Akra, even tho they are the best IMHO.

    both Akra choices are here
    http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scrip...dCategory=2077

Akras (not from aprilia -- no unlock ocodes) are online...no idea on delivery, none have come in yet

No ETA or info on the Aprilia-Akra systems....we ask the accessory manager weekly

order up and jump in line is my best advice

Honestly, If I were you I were you, I would post that Werks pipe on the forum for sale and put your money into a 2016 slip on (that has the larger dia link) with a 16 race ecu/or code - one that's actually tuned for your RF. You already spent a lot of $$ on that bike, no sense in spending time and more $$ trying to modify that exhaust and take the chance of it running like crap..

I feel everyone's pain waiting for exhaust, hell I'm still waiting for a bike to roll into my garage.. Been wanting an Aprilia for 10 years and the time has finally come...but still, I must wait...

i couldn't agree more, and everyone has said the same thing to "butter". He doesn't want to takes people's advice, he is just waiting to sell it or suck the energy out of whoever he wants by constantly asking questions that have been answered many times over. He will not respond to others advice, he just likes to give it. Given what he says he does for a living I now know why. Furthermore, he doesn't understand the concept that exhaust pipes are different and need to be tuned for your application. Taking any old slip on and making it fit is not the proper way and he knows this because everyone has said the same thing,,,,, u need a ECU or tune upgrade. None available like u said... Anyway I am just over this guys constant sob story about his slip on exhaust. Excuse me and don't mean to be rude.
