    Progetti vari 138

Hi, ive just bought an RS250 with the frame number ZD4LD000000R00001 Aprilia have confirmed it is the first rs250 to be produced but for some reason they don't have any info on a sticker near the chassis number that says 'Progetti vari 138' the bike looks nothing like standard and has a carbon tank and tail with flat slide carbs and a multi colour paint scheme.. any help appreciated..

    Hi. Thanks for info
Could the tank and tail not have been fitted by aprilia projects?
Do you know anything about the colour scheme? Any others like this?
I was told bike came from factory like this... It's only got 1000km on clocks and has never been used for over 20 years..

    Hi.. Yeah that's the one..
I'm on with getting it UK registered at the moment. If I could find out if it's the original factory colour I'd keep it.. I'd not I'll re paint in first gen colour..

Did you contact aprilia uk or in Italy, if I was you I’d go straight to the horses mouth in Italy, cut out the middle man in the uk who couldn’t be bothered to do anything for you because he won’t make any money off your enquiry and try and get an email address for someone in aprilia’s customers service dept in Italy and send off some photos and ask what you’d like to know. It may take a little effort but it won’t cost anything but a bit of patience and time.

sorry I can’t help anymore than that.

id leave her the way she is, she’s got character.
