I wouldn't leave my helmet with the bike. There are just too many things that can happen.

carring a helmet after you park is a bitch especially when I go to the beach, dont want ton of sand inside thats why I need to lock it to my bike.

Sounds more like you need a scooter for those sorts of adventures.

Its available from AF1 but its pricey. My RS seems to have all the correct stock parts. I will look and see if I have the helmet cable and if an alternative fix would work.

Thanks, can you take a pic where its located and how its attached?? Yeah I saw that on AF1, I would rather but a real bike like from a junk bike and weld it on for cheaper but Im curios about the stock lock set up.

    Thanks stevieboy22

Looked at my bike today. No helmet cable lock. I cannot see anywhere it would be attached either? I do have a factory owners manual and it makes no mention of the cable. Curious.

My RS has no such "lock cable", but it does have a way to secure a helmet ...

Nice! I always looked at that "wire" and wondered what it was for. Now I know.Surprised that it isn't mentioned in the manual. You know-WARNING! DO NOT DRIVE WITH HELMET ATTACHED TO HOLDER!!

Everyone has "eagle eyes" on my pics ...
Anyone notice the strippers in the background ???

    ...
    ...
    ...

(it's ok, my Wife says I'm "not funny" all the time)

So, my RS is '01 USA model.
Vents, they are UNI filters I installed in the backside of the Air Box next to the Factory inlet.
Purchased them from Treats for cheap ...
I just recently installed them when I fitted my Italkit BBK, figured it best to increase the inlet potential relative to the increased displacement.

The "fuse set up", that's the Main (and only) fuse for the entire RS's electrical system.
It is also the Voltage Rectifier for the RS (converts AC to DC voltage).
You are missing the little rubber mounting thingamajig that attaches it to that tab right there on the Rear Sub Frame.

    Aprilia part # AP8212525

It's like a $2.50 item, and readily available from an Aprilia Dealer.

I shop around when it comes to genuine Aprilia parts.
AF1 is great for a lot of items, but ...
Shipping from West Coast to East Coast is what it is and as such I have also been buying OEM items from Aprilia Superstore in MD.
Costs are are par between the two, but shipping times & costs are better from Aprilia Superstore for me here on the East Coast.

thanks for the fuse info, when you have a beater like mine you dont know what your missing till you see other peoples bikes lol

How is the uni filter stock airbox set up working out??
