Hi I ride mana850 in korea. My mana have a problem. help please!

    Hello everyone.
    I am MK.
I am writing this translator and an inexperienced English proficiency.
Please note that the sentence is awkward.

    Recently, Moto camping with friends.

There was no problem when going.
    There was a problem returning.

Release the throttle and drive down the engine with the gaer warning light on.
The feeling that the gear is fixed to the bottom.
And then back to nomal driving.
Then the throttle was released for the traffic signal, but the ignition off and the service light were on.

    Restart did not work well.
When the warning light is not illuminated during the symptom, both the output and gears work properly.

I just came home and checked the error code.

    DSB08
    ECU54

I just came home and checked the error code.
Even if the self reset function is initialized, the ECU 54 does not disappear.
I searched for ECU54 error but could not find it.

Currently, it does not start, and only the sound of the start relay sounds like the discharge of the battery.
I tried to jump the battery and started the start motor, but the start does not take place.
The battery was normally pointing at 12.4v and dropped to 6 ~ 7v when the start motor was running.
It has recently been discharged and has been charged using the charger, but it is now.
There was a discharge before the moto camping, and it operated several hundred kilometers after charging.

My Mana has traveled 28,400km in 2008 year.
The belt and slider have been replaced at 27,400km.
Equipped with a Leo Vince muffler, the external diameter 91mm has been working to reduce the sound.

Does anyone know symptoms such as my mana or how to fix it? Ask for help.
    Please help me...!

Well I have looked at the error codes and I can not find an error code ECU54 or DSB08, my list goes from ECU1 to ECU23 are you sure that is correct ? but it might be your battery is half dead, is it charging ? perhaps somebody else has an idea what if correct these error codes mean, I would try a new or known good battery to begin with and reset the computer and check the charging, I do not think the battery voltage should drop as low as 6-7 volts with the starter motor running.
sorry I can not be of more help perhaps others can.

Oh p.s. I have found the code DSB08 and DSB07 are both oil pressure sensor, one is when running and the other is stopped.

How old is the battery and how long was it discharged? Depending on the type of battery it might be that the clue is the drop to 6-7 volts when cranking, a good battery should crank higher than that. AGM batteries do not like to be totally discharged and never really regain full strength. Go with what Oslin said "try a new or known good battery to begin with and reset the computer and check the charging," and hopefully you will be happily riding again
    Good Luck

Thank you for the information about the DSB08 error message.
I think it is not a problem because it was deleted by initialization.

I keep my mana somewhere else.
So I do not remember now whether ECU is from 1.
I am sure to check on Saturday.

My battery lasted about one year.
I remember the discharge number about 3 times.
Your current battery is not an AGM battery.

When I was driving, the engine was turned off, and I was vigorously cranking up, but it did not start.
But I think that it may be due to a battery problem as your advice.
We will replace the battery and let you know the result.
    Thank you for your reply.

    Today checked my mana
Existing batteries have reached the end of their life.
    Try cranking with another battery.
Cranking is done. But start is impossible.

    DSB 07 error appeared.

I heard that this is a problem with the oil pressure sensor, can this make it impossible to start?

The workshop manual and the search found out that the parts in the picture were oil pressure sensors. Are there any other oil pressure sensors?

    Help me please!

Hi MK-P thanks for the photos I have nothing in my e-workshop manual with those codes unfortunately (very odd) so I can not help you with that, but have you tried a new or good battery ? also try removing the main fuse for a few seconds or disconnect the battery if it is good and replacing it to re boot the computer after you have connected a good battery if yours is past its best,
DSB 07 is no pressure of a fault with the engine stopped DSB 08 is a fault with the engine running,
it might be an earth fault on the switch, is it earthed back to the ECU ? have you checked the connectors (both ends) on the oil pressure switch ? are they clean ? and lastly a silly question you do have enough oil in the sump ?
Perhaps someone has an idea whats going on.

If the battery is down to 6-7 volts when starting then it is almost certainly dead. It should not drop below about 10 volts. This might be the cause of the other fault codes if the dashboard is not getting enough power to switch its settings. I think ECU 54 is a dashboard fault, so worth checking the main plug for a good connection. This might also be the reason for the oil sensor fault code as DSB 07 means no connection to the the sensor.

I would swap in a known good battery and then reset all the fault codes and see if it all behaves after that. If any come back you can then start individual fault finding.

Thank you all for your reply.

    I replaced the battery yesterday.
I also checked the oil pressure sensor.
The voltage was also measured using a multimeter on the connector of the oil pressure sensor.
    A voltage of 5 V or more appeared at the time of key-on (about 6 ~ 8V)
I tried to replace the engine oil and filter.
But the warning light did not go away.

    Cranking works very strongly.
    But it does not start.

I removed the plug cap and tried the ignition test.
    The plug does not sparkle.
I checked the connector parts and the fuse, but nothing was wrong.

The ECU 54 error is still displayed.
I do not know what ECU 54 means.

Is there any way to measure with a dedicated scanner?

ECU 54 Ask the manufacturer about the error and you will get the answer?

What other reasons do you think?
    Please let me know.
    Thanks for reading.

Did you clear the fault on the computer ? another thought check the low tension supply to the coils and if there is no supply trace it back to the source if it ends up at the dash there may be a dash or ignition key fault, it might be the immobilizer, have you tried a spare key ? thats the best I can think of at present, let us know how you get on.

Hi MK-P I have been in touch with Ed at AF1 racing and asked about the codes ECU 44/45/50/51/54/55 and according to them these codes will only come up when the bikes is plugged in to the dealers computer and are all dash board faults, so I do not know why you are seeing an ECU code so it looks as if you will have to go to a dealer to find out what is the problem, I hope this helps.

Hi Keith Thank you very much for your reply.
I will try to start with the other key on the return weekend, otherwise I will pick it up at the Korea Cooperation Center.
I think that you should visit and use the cooperative 's diagnostic device to let you know. If I can find the code at the collaborator, I will write it here.
Your answer has been very helpful.
    Thank you again.
