Opinion on this video: H2 racing

Curious what the opinion on videos like this are in general.

I enjoy watching the occasional blast to high speeds, when I was much younger I went over 150 (indicated) a couple of times on a deserted country road. But these guys do multiple Interstate races at what has to be close to top speed of the H2 (180+).

Utter stupidity! If (when) something goes wrong, the wreckage will spread for at least a mile and the only "first responder" needed will be the coroner.

One of my buddies has 2, I know is rated at 500+ hp

Don’t know the real number because the bike dyno shut down at 500

Also owns a ‘Rsv factory or whatever it’s called nowadays

Plus a few more top flute bikes

I've watched a couple with this guy and don't get the point at all, anyone can sit on a bog straight highway and open a bike to its limits, I've done the same on every bike I've had just to see what it topped out at but I prefer to ride on the twistiest rd's I can find and could fall asleep keeping to the limit on a dual carriageway or motorway, it bores the tats off me.

They've updated the video thumbnail to include some fugly woman. I couldn't watch the video, it was just too mind-numbingly stupid.

500bhp on the shop dyno would only be about 45 lbs of boost on methanol for a 1000cc inline 4 or MAYBE 30 psi on gasoline...

They could ride naked for all the help any protective clothing could offer them at 300kph. Ask yourself when was the last time you saw a cow bouncing down the road at those speeds, would it get up unscathed?

    Supercharged Sociopaths

That would be a long slide. Friction burns, anyone?

After a Kevin Schwantz crash from very high speed at Road America, a cornerworker came to assist the obviously shaken Texan. "Kevin, do you know what day it is?"

"Well, for as long as I was sliding it might be Tuesday now!", quipped the 34.
