    unusual place for a Britten?

This is central Christchurch, Britten's workshop is about a block behind the bike and it is being wheeled to the building over the road to the left. That building is the old railway station which was converted to Science Alive, which was an entertainment centre, mainly for school children, to see science experiments and general interesting stuff. The building was destroyed in the 2011 earthquake.

    "The Klingon Battlecruiser"

I just read a piece about how Elon Musk plans to launch one of his Tesla sportscars into space atop a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket. That's funny, but wouldn't you rather see a Britten V-1000 make it up there, prima facie evidence of intelligent life on Earth to the lucky alien who finds it?
