    Rear wheel ABS sensor

Does anyone know of any alternatives? Or has one sitting on a shelf looking for a home? I noticed on my ride yesterday that the rubber housing has split, exposing the wiring. I'm sure I can patch it but, long-term, I imagine it's better to replace. I suspect I'm looking at approx 85-90 although I see AF1 sell it for 55 + shipping.

Before it gets any worse, get yourself a can of liquid electrical tape spray. http://tinyurl.com/y9mguun5
Remove the sensor from the bike and clean it spotless. Then give it a shot of the spray into the split, and let it dry. Follow with several thin coats of the stuff on the entire housing, letting it dry thoroughly between coats. That should be the last of the problem.

BMW F650 sensor is the same. I am not sure about the plug side. Maybe you have to modify the wiring. There are tens of ABS sensor on Ebay listings.

Thanks both. I'll inspect the split more closely this evening.
