New to me Ducati Monster 1200

Sold my '07 Tuono not long ago, then the VFR. Today picked up a 2014 Monster 1200 with under 2600 miles on the clock at a nice price.
Will be selling the '03 Tuono before too long. This Duc is a sweet handling and sounding bike. No shortage of power, of course.
I believe it is all stock and got a new rear tire after 2500 miles.

The music from the stock pipes is rockin' and plenty of volume, imho.
The insurance company wanted to know if it had a sound system.
So did the Lyft driver that took me to collect it.
Told them both, the sound system is the exhaust.

    Nice trio of Ducks.

Nice bike Lee, i love the look of that model monster, and those 1198 engines are rock solid, and love a good thrashing. PS get the Termi.
"The Earth is our ancestor....A restless Planet is our creator"..............................In the shed...... Multistrada 1200, Termi full system with matching ECU, and ohlins SCU. KTM 640 supermotard, with full titanium system and a shit load of spares. (track bike) and a 1290 GT. Torque monster. Remus link and muffler.

Great bikes, I had a bunch of saddle time on the '17 1200S this year with the new cool slate grey-blue color. If I wasn't obsessing over the '17 Tuono that would be in the running as a new bike consideration. There was something just so right about the note on downshifting and engine braking up to a stop. Ergos were perfect too.

I thought about a V4 Tuono a lot, the V twins are so cool.
But I've wanted a Monster for 20+ years, so it was about time.
