    Riding Across Australia

I'm riding across Aus on my 07 T to spend christmas with old friends.
The bike will get a thorough service before I leave including checking the condition of the stator.
I have a set of side cases, a top case and tank bag.
Greatest distance between fuel is 191 Kms. This is getting close to the limit with the T so I'll carry fuel.
I have driven across and back 5 times but never ridden.
Has anyone on the forum done this recently and can offer any tips, tricks or ideas ?

I have managed to get 300km from my 07 RSVR, stock gearing, slipons and map 2
that was on the hume in the pissing rain. just sat on 100-110 km and tried to see what I could get from a tank, (had to make that nightmare of a road interesting some how)
you should be able to get 191 easy

I'm coming from the left Flossy & don't wanna hit any of the above so no night time riding.
I can't get 300k's from a tank JDRSV and I know I'll end up doing a bit more than the speed limit.

The Eyre highway. Norseman in WA to Ceduna in SA.

The section between Balladonia and Caiguna includes what is regarded as the longest straight stretch of road in Australia and one of the longest in the world.
