Well, it's a race-specific model. But yeah - lame. Weight reduction would have been more useful.

It's 22lbs lighter, but has winglets...

Could have saved another 2lbs per side by dropping the winglets.

Quite the kit: power rises to 215bhp, weight drops by 22 pounds. Winglets? Benefit will vary by rider and track. Nice job, Noale! Someone had to be first to market.

I like it too, very GP looking for a SST class bike. Seems like 22 lbs could have been 22 kgs for the price but hey...

Demonstrated benifit, or wannabe racer-boy gear?

    That's a bit rhetorical.

Looked good winglets add mount points for lights and barrels. Still prefer the black, red, orange of the early rsv2s

With all the science that goes into the geometry and driver aids you would think they would have it figured out by now.

Wings and downforce aero are for when you have such a surplus of power that to prevent wheelie mitigation from ruining your power put to the ground at higher speeds you intentionally go faster by adding drag.

That, right there, would stop me buying an RSV4R unless it came with free Dremmel.....

I hope it looks better from the side or with the lights out.

I believe that would make it too wide.

Kinda like a Busa mixed with early GSXRs from the early 90s.

I'm sure this bike is a lethal weapon at the national race scene levels (Moto-America, National Superbike series, etc) but even on my best day ever, that bike has exponentially more capability in it than I have ability to get that capability out of it.
