MASSIVE save by Davies! Might be the best save I’ve seen. Highside to tankslapper, off the seat and breaking the windscreen. I think I saw his leathers get puckered up a bit

You can name any award you like but his nationality is British. There's a union flag on his riding leathers . When he wins a race they play God Save the Queen

Eugene and Rea are buddies, and both from Northern Ireland.

Wow your brilliance amazes me, only one of them is Irish, unless you are referring to Michael Laverty , then they are all British

Researched it and while both are from Northern Ireland (UK), Laverty is the only one claiming the motherland on his WSBK profile stats while Rea is UK. Click image for larger version.

Eugene Laverty rides under a 'flag of convenience'..........he has a Southern Ireland race licence because historically they helped fund his early career, but just like his brother Michael, who races under a British licence, they and JR are born & bred Ulstermen.....which rightly or wrongly dependent on your view of Irish history, is British.

But really it matters not a flying f*ck, they're all great racers and all proud of the island where they were born & raised.

JR is a stunning talent, always has been.....he ought to be in Motogp rather than dominating WSBK to such an extent that the organisers feel the need to tailor the rules to try and handicap him, not just Kawasaki......I hope it doesn't work, I hope it just allows him to step up yet another level and rub their noses in it.
