If there were more battles for the wins I think people would stay, but his domination was rather boring.

Just like the Josh Hayes domination of AMA a few years back. Those races were no fun to watch.

One could say the same about the Matt Mladin era as well. Or the Rossi era. Or the Mark Marquez era.

All forms of racing comes in waves where there is one standout.

Not so much with the Marquez era. It's been really close the last two championships he's won. And he mixes it up with dnf and shit. And he's just fun to watch him defy the laws of physics.
Yes on the old Rossi era. Tho there was the occasional battle with biaggi or sete.
Can't say the same with Rea and Mladin. They just take off and no one can catch them with their superior machine AND skills.

Ifs, butts, and peanuts. take away that blown motor this year and it would not have gone down to the last race. Granted, the season makes the title, but how often does a Honduh blow a motor? The kid has won 4 of the last 5 titles. I would put that down as this being the MM era!

Not saying it's not his era.
I'm saying his era isn't boring like the others.

Multiple gp winners in the last few years of MotoGP. Even in the Rossi era before all the good competition showed up the races weren't over by half distance.

    Reduced Revs

Despite the imposition of lowered rev limits in World Superbike they still compare well, as Jerez test day 1's times attest. Dorna's ongoing attempts to prise Kawasaki SBKs away from MotoGP levels of performance does not look entirely successful at this point.

Sbk still use qualifying tyres , best check who was using what before comparing times. Anyone who seriously belives the KRT Kawasaki's have MotoGP performance is either deluded or knows nowt about owt

While it might be easier to explain chastity to a stud duck at the county fair, may I help with your proofreading V4?

    belives should be believes

Kawasaki's should be Kawasakis, as in the plural form.
