Without Red Bull, Motorsport the world over would be much worse off. From F1 to FIM trials bikes, MotoGP to air racing, powerboats to drag cars, Red Bull is there providing support. All of that factored in, I’d say that RB ABSOLUTELY spends more $$ supporting racing than any other sponsor, Repsol, Movistar, and TIM included.
    I find tinsel very distracting.

That they own two Formula 1 teams will certainly skew the results in total budget spent.

BTW, if anyone is following the developments in F1 the Toro Rosso/Renault/Honda deal is very curious. McLaren dumps Honda for Renault, Renault gets Sainz Jr (very good young driver) for their car, and Toro Rosso gets to develop the Honda without the expectations of winning races.

I believe you are right, and I seem to remember that they were reluctant to carry out the safety improvements for this years GP which were requested.

I bet if KTM had continued with the RC8 as a road bike/race project (they spent some time developing it in the German (IDM) superbike championship under Red Bull sponsorship) they would have been all over WSBK like a rash.....as it is I imagine they are pretty disappointed with their investment in the Ten Kate Honda effort on many levels......the piss poor performance of the bike and associated lack of results, the promise of 2 ex-GP world champs/Motogp contenders coming to nothing, and of course the sad loss of Nicky. Here's hoping that they give Leon Camier a decent bike for next season but history, Honda, and all their bullshit promises in WSBK doesn't exactly promote confidence.

I guess we should be thankful that the energy drinks companies stepped in when the cigarette sponsorship left.....wonder how long it will be before some 'scientific study' comes along 'proving' that energy drinks are seriously bad for our health and their advertising gets curtailed/banned?
