Well, so much for the incentive to try to build a competitive bike. Maybe Kawi will tell em to piss off and take their ball back to Moto GP.

How can you say it’s a bad thing!
WSBK has been shite for years now!
Even on these very pages you guys say that Kawasaki and Ducati win every weekend!

Something needs to happen so just like in MotoGP with the spec ECU,things got interesting again!
It can be any worse than it has been for quite some place one now!

I don’t know. Chicken little decried the GP spec ECU, and it’s given us some of the most competitive racing seen in decades.
    I find tinsel very distracting.

Hopefully it makes it more entertaining. It's been the Kawasaki show for quite a while.

The rev limit adjustments based on performance without any clear way that is determined is garbage.

How about a max rev limit of 5% over stock actual redline (measured on production engines versus stated redline, think '06 R6 bs which said 17k but struggled to get to 16k)

Everyone starts with that +5%. Every say, 100 pts a manufacturer earns toward the manufacturer's championship, the bikes lose 1%. So within a few rounds of Kawasaki 1-2 finishes they would be back at stock redline. Win a few more rounds and they might be a few percent under redline even.

IMHO, it’s a reflection of the motorbike economy. Don’t care for the showdown but BSB has been more entertaining.

Not enough room for success ballast

So why should the manufactures that support WSBK be strangled so the manufactures that don't support Wsbk can win.

change is not bad. but the caps, and hitting specific manufacturers is not the sort of ideas i like. must be another way to mix things up. i think the whole series should be less regulated. oh-but then they get closer to the GP bikes. can't have that. sorry.

This is insane for a motor racing rule, if you want to take the machine out of the equation race push bikes!

I guess it could be good for Moto America but it sure as hell won't be good for WSBK. And they wonder why the kids aren't into racing these days.

I think we will have to see, I was sceptical when the GP's introduced the ´open class', various fuel limits, tyres etc.
But look how it's brought back Suzuki and Aprilia, also Ducati to some extent as only Stoner could ride it before.

i think they know what their doing, just give it a couple of seasons to get itself all sorted out.

Maybe if Kawasaki has stayed with the GP project they could be where Aprilia are today.
