Speaking of wind blast saw a shot of Redding going down the front straight with his head getting smacked about nasty.

Sure - a friend of mine had a track day there booked with a rental, but had to back-out due to some health issue. He was bummed!

Ya, I'm sure I wouldn't do it justice, but I'd still like to try. The Miller WSBK course was kind of like that as well - fast and bumpy too.

    Two ways to ride it.

    In anger.

We had a student from China here a few years back, couldn't understand why it was winter here when he'd left a summer at home. Like him you may have to get out more. :-)

love QR, not so good years ago before they relayed it, awesome after tho, my old profile pik was QR turn 2..
morgan park raceway is a lot of fun, on the full track 3km 20 turns.....not to mention the kangaroos,!!!!
Didnt like Winton, but that was before they relayed it..
the old eastern creek was good.
love broadford in Victoria, done I think from memory around 7,000 laps there.
used to love the old surfers paradise, that was a long time ago.
Lakeside in Brisbane was ok back then, rode that on a TZ 250 and a 350...dangerous track that was before they changed under the bridge( bus stop)
And of course PI, but I just never really gelled there, couldn't ever better a 1.40.7, just gave to much time away...

QR? the antithesis of PI, don't like it at all. Never ridden PI, but I imagine I'd like it, love fast flowing tracks, can't stand stop start heavy braking designed for cars type tracks.

Its one of those things, people used to say to me, why go all the way up there to ride a boring track, when your only less than a hour from PI....I just really enjoyed QR, but I've always thort my braking was my strong point...good brakes and strong motor that pulls hard off the bottom is a lot of fun...it lends itself to some good dicing...

yes it does, haven't ridden QR, but have learn't to enjoy Symmons Plains after racing some fun tracks in NSW in my past, Amaroo Park, Oran Park & Eastern Creek (AKA SMSP).

Rode PI in January, wow what a fast flowing track. Easy to go to fast.

Yeah right...time travel only exists in the movies.

Maybe you're the one that needs to get out more?
