Mir wraps it up, well deserved championship, he's been head and shoulders above everyone else this year.

Wow awesome race. Philip Island is the best. Crazy scrapping for position. Happy to see the Suzukis fighting at the front again, the Maniac looked in his old form finally.

Somebody needs to have words with whoever was directing the TV cameras at the end of the race. Seriously, the podium battle is wheel to wheel at the line, and they train the cameras on celebrating Repsol Honda crew? Totally missed 2nd place and back coming to the line.

    Dovi...ouch.

Yes, fantastic racing, and agreed, WTF with switching to a group of HRC techs giving man love so that we didn't see Rosso, Zarco and Crazy Joe fight it out to the line!!!!!

A great Moto GP race, great viewing from those first 7 bikes swapping positions. and a good showing by KTM, beating all the Ducati's and Aprilias.
It used to be "Rock around the clock" now its "limp around the block".................................In the shed...... Multistrada 1200, Termi full system with matching ECU, and ohlins SCU. KTM 640 supermotard, with full titanium system and a shit load of spares. (track bike) and a Bran spanking new 1290 GT. Torque monster.

Marquez would have to have a Greg Norman Masters - esque meltdown to lose the championship now.

Wow - what an entertaining race. It isn't often there is that much passing flag to flag! Great rides by MM and VR. Too bad for Dovi - he needs an MM DNF now.

So what the hell happened to Ducati? That was a pretty epic loss of form in one week if you ask me. Dovi top ranked Duc in 13th? Next best was Abraham? At one point in the race Karel was the best running Ducati. Its only been 7 days since winning in Motegi. And that was in the wet, so it doesn’t seem like mixed conditions could be to blame. I heard them say something about Dovi losing confidence after the crash earlier in the weekend, but that doesnt explain every single Duc getting bested by the likes of Suzuki and KTM (and likely Aleix’s Aprilia had he not come off).

Very weird to me, especially with so much on the line.

How could you do this Dave....... you missed Scott Redding in 11th as the top placed Ducati - I never thought I'd be able to say that this year LOL.

But, then again, this is one of the best things about MotoGP, no one can say it's a predictable snooze-fest !

Got me, Dean, guilty as charged! And it was Redding pipping Dovi on the last lap too, wasnt it? Guess ive already mentally moved Scott onto the Aprilia.

Ace, we got a cricket theme going for the Japanese race and now we've got a golf theme
Marquez is a bit like Gary Player "the more I practice, the luckier I get "

Given his form so far this year that's understandable Dave. Here's hoping it's a good sign for Aprilia for next year

Just a bit miffed I have to wait until tomorrow to watch the race (too tight to buy the subscription for live feed )
