    Supension advice

I just purchased a new 2017 RSV4 RR that I will be racing next season and could use some suspension advice. The bike will be fitted with ohlins fgrt fork and ttx36 shock. What kind of springs would be a good starting point?

Rider details: 220 lbs, 6"2 tall
Level: ~10s a lap slower then the top of the wsbk (they ride 1:35 on that track)
    As a reference: this year I ride a 2016 R1 with ktech 110 springs.

Not sure if geometry in 17 bikes is different from 16, but I can tell you that everyone racing the 16 and older bikes is running much much more shock length than 313. I have a thread over in the RSV4 forum called “Club racing my 16RR” that might be useful to you, it has the World Superstock base settings.

I just saw the race manual for a 2017 RSV that includes 2 suspensions settings that I can use as a baseline.

17 RF is different. That red link plate they have raises the ass end a good bit and alters spring rate significantly.
