    With the "Race ECU" map or the OFT "Stage 2" map are there any concerns about fuel differences between the US and (for example) Australia? I've heard that in the US ethanol blends are much more common, but I'm not sure how that might affect the running of the bike if using a map tuned on that kind of fuel.

    Are these still all true or you changed something and it works better now?
    Harder engine braking : I bet this is not a good improvement .. ? (I'm just comparing the Race setting to all other on '17, and that Race is the only engine braking I find to be smooth).
    Throttle smoothness is gone : Doesn't seem like a good thing at all.

    So do you find the OF's maps are good or bad then?

    They also gave me the RaceECU map , once I've plugged in the GuzziDiag ..
    I think I've read that OFT can do throttle roll and angle calibration too, no need for GuzziDiag .. ? Am I wrong?

    Can I just ask what is "OFT stage 2 " , or what is this "stage 2" for RSV4 in general .. ? ( I know it must be here on the forum in 100s of posts somewhere, but please if you don't mind just a couple of sentences ..).

    Which 'stage' is this : I just want Akrapovic slip-on with de-cat link pipe, and _possibly_ RSV4 improved air filter ( I don't know if needed), and the Race map to fit this slip-on & de-cat.
    I also want to remove that valve flipping in the exhaust, which I assume is part of that slip-on + de-cat installation.

    Will OFT 's map be ok for this? Is there OFT map more suitable the above than Stage 2?

    Sorry if this sounds dumb,
    Last thing I want is to damage the valves somehow by using a wrong map or smth ..

    stage 2 is their version of the RACE map, good for all pipes. Basically a super enhanced RACE map....runs awesome.

    So you don't agree then with boofhead187 experience, and it runs much better for you?
    How is your engine braking? How is your throttle ? Anything else .. ?
