    fuel light

hello i own a DD1200 2011 and i want to ask you guys when your fuel light comes on.
in the owners manual it says in 2.5L the light should go on.
but it seems after i refuel when the light is on my bike getting more 10+liters in the tank.
as i know we have 15L in this tank.

someone know when really the lights should go on or how its on your personal bike.

    tnx.

I suppose the bike being on the stand will factor in how much fuel you can pack in the fuel tank. Other than that, not sure. From my personal experience, I don't think I've ever filled more than 13L even when going on the reserve for a while.

Much has been written about this in previous threads. My light tends to come on quite early which seems typical. Normally about 150 to 160km to light on, and another 50 to 60 km available after. Less if stop and go traffic and maybe slightly more if easy steady state cruising. T
