V7 Racer III wheels on a V7 Stone II?

I'm looking at trying to "vintage-ize" my 2014 V7 Stone to have spoked rims, and one of the better options seems to be the newer V7 Racer III wheels (because they have black rims and hubs) - but I'm not sure if they're compatible. Has anyone done this or know if its possible?

Is this a trend? I just bought a V7 III Racer and didn't want the wire wheels, for practical/safety reasons. Within a day the dealer had a fellow wanting to swap his 'Stone' rims for mine, adding serious cash too. Dealer thought it might be a drop in fit. R3~

Yes, you can fit the inferior wheels if you want. They're a direct swap.
