Will the valves be out of spec like most of the bikes?

Just makes you realize how fast a bike really is. That car is almost twice the weight and still moves pretty good!

Haha! My local Aprilia dealer quoted me 15 hrs labor at $1500 to inspect and shim them today... Let's just say the conversation ended right there lol

I think that car would have better low end if they had used a Tuono engine instead. Almost sounded like it was bogging out of the corners with the rsv4 engine

The Griip from Italy, this thing is bad ass, started its first race from last place and won the race, it was almost like all the other cars were running 600 motors. Oh, and the sound, well we all know about that and love it. $62K US isn't cheap, but that car is pretty crazy. They will be in the US starting in NOV, most likely southern tracks for demos. Giddy up!

    It's not really a F1.
What it tells is that how flexible the engine is as to put it into a single seater and make it a racer.
Having enough choices like Ducati super quadro's or MV in lines .... they chose the best imo

Loved the sound of that. Still went pretty good

I had a few years back a BEC (bike engined car) based on the Caterham. 445kg without fuel and a Honda Fireblade lump fitted

It wasn't mega quick but would do 0-60 in 4 seconds and top out about 125mph but my gosh it would go round corners quick with toyo 888s

Just had a long talk with Griip this morning, and we have the potential to get the first two cars in the USA and providing support for the Aprilia engines.

Interested parties should contact us. They would make an AWESOME trackday car.

    CRAP!!!!

Now there are 2 uber-expensive Aprilia toys I just gotta have...a nice RS250 and now this ^^^ awesome little machine! And this one makes the price of a 'pristine' street-legal RS250 sound almost believable!

edit...just watched the video again...what a BLAST this thing would be to drive!!! Someone donate $66k so I can play..

I reckon a smart car with a zx10r motor in it would be a hoot, I know theres quite a few zx9r cars out there as the owners were also on the forum for that bike asking for help with stuff.
