    Angry And now the transmission....

After fixing my exhaust problem with backfire on my Typhoon, i was riding quietly and suddenly there was a metal friction noise coming from the rear wheel ... At home I removed the clutch and turned the rear wheel to hear a grunting of the rear gears! .

So on Monday I brought the scooter to the dealer who installed the Malossi kit 80cc with the gears ratio.
First question they said to me, "Is there any oil in the transmission box?"
"I d'ont know you are the one who did the job last May ....."
He lost his smile and now I await the verdict!

I had my scooter today, it cost me $ 200!
They changed 3 bearings in the transmission.
The mechanic says at 10 000km (6200 Miles) it is normal that the original bearings burn with the new kit 80cc, turns faster and more torque. They installed SKF bearings sealed and should be more resistant.

    Back on the road!

I've never seen gearbox bearings fail because of a BBK. It's always been from poor quality oil or lack of lubrication.
