    2013 Dorsoduro rev counter

    Hi guy's
So i am a first time Dorsoduro owner and i love the bike it has a bunch of extras on it and a week back i had the arrow map done on it
On my way to the dealer after some hard riding getting on the highway i notest that the rev counter now was no longer doing it job but sitting to the side
The dealer just said it need a new speed cluster at a cost of 13500 Sa Rand just over 1000 us that is a hell of a lot
well i did remove the speed went on some forums and some of the v4 guy'S have the same ting happen and the cluster looks the same but i could not get mine open
It just looks like the needle has come of the shaft
has any one had the same problem and has any one oped the cluster
    Thanks

I have had this happen on other vehicles. An easy fix usually once you get to it. Normally just a very small splined shaft. Put a dab of locktite or glue on it and press back on in the proper spot and you should be good to go. T

There should be a way for it to split but I have not had mine apart so I can't say for sure. Usually you would take the back cover off and then unscrew the gauge and take it out the back. Do what you have to. It went together so it has to come apart. Used ones can sometimes be sourced from ebay etc too if it is fubar or gets unrepairably damaged during disassembly. Good luck... Tom
