    2007 fly 50 4t bogging

    Hello, new to the forum but not to engines. I recently purchased a 07 fly 50 4t with 1200mi on the clock. The Scoot is mint but i cannot seem to get it to run correctly. I have removed and cleaned the carb, i have adjusted fuel screw, I was told it received a new plug, air filter and oil change before i received it. The issue i am having is hard starting, after it starts and warms up it will bog out and almost die/die if i "blip" the throttle or rev it up and try to get on the throttle again. It will run WOT no problem and run strong but when i let off and try to get back on it it was fall on its face. Not sure if my carb is shot, is there a cheap "upgrade" option vs the 200$ usd oem carb. Also there is a open hole on the bottom that at the bottom looks to be a mesh screen. The hole is threaded, any idea if this could be an issue? Attached is a pick of said hole screwdriver pointing to it.Click image for larger version.

    main jet - 75
    pilot jet -40
    fuel screw 1.75 turn out (first setting, then played with after that with no sucess)

    the idle jets get clogged first because they are small. it runs like the idle jet is clogged up i think.

    perhaps you need a 4t owner to help with the threaded hole.

    Idle jet is brand new, and both are clean. Also it idles but does not like to catch itself after some throttle is applied. I would have to feather the throttle to get it to stabilize again.

    when the carb is off the bike. try blowing wd40 thru the threaded hole to see where it goes. it might be the float overflow or something.

    Tried that and it seemed like a dead hole, one reason why i didnt think much of it. But i figured i would bring it up incase something vibrated out.
