    Odometer reading lost?

When I swapped out the battery in this here 2009 SR50, I can't find any odometer reading for the lifetime of the bike.

Surely you don't lose the knowledge of the bike's overall mileage when you simply swap out a battery?!?!?! This happens all the time with motorsports vehicles.

    Zombie bikes with unknown mileage?

Lucky you! You just magically earned "brand new" 0 miles status! That is weird though, I had to buy a used cluster and who knows how long it was disconnected from the whole bike. Should be right there...
