Thanks for the quick review, Micah. Waiting for them to arrive in Seattle.

Does the DD have lean sensitive ABS/TC; or just plain versions?

Never mind-- apparently they don't. Too bad.

Aprilia did miss out on a few things revamping the 900 Shiver. I bought mine in July and have some 6000kMs on it already. I miss a few things, one is the fuel tank, for such a bike really small it was first said it has 14.5L and later is was said to have 15L but for a commuter like myself it is a bit small.
Second there are no hazard lights on the 900 anymore, the 750 had them so why remove them from the 900? I went to the dealer but he couldn't help it either so he asked Aprilia but they said they had nothing to change the fact. For me that is a problem since I have to deal with traffic jams almost daily and feel I would be better visible with hazard lights on. So I am thinking mounting an extra blinker relay which fires all 4 lights, maybe even some diodes as to protect the ECU where the blinkers are controlled from initially.
Maybe some of you guys have an electrical diagram or scheme?
Third I removed the cover of the tank, removing the tank in itself was already a puzzle due to some illogically placed bolts under the tank, behind the frame work but hey I managed.
the tank cover itself was impossible to place back and I should advice anyone not to remove this cover if not really neccessary. I wanted to place venture shield and did this under the shower for convenience but I wish I had taken the whole tank upstairs instead of just the cover.
But for the rest it is a very nice bike and have a lot of fun with it.
Hope one of you guys recognizes my problem and knows a workaround concerning the hazard lights or a electrical scheme so I can work our one myself.

    Hi szretje
My 2010 Shiver 2010 had hazard lights on the integrated right switch cluster. The starter button on this cluster gave problems in many Aprilia and some Guzzi bikes, so this was replaced with the minor upgrade. As a result my 2015 Shiver SL does not have hazard lights. I too agree that this is a problem.

They actually solved the problem, but created another! The starter button used to stick and that caused some starter motors to keep running and burn out. I got into the habit of pulling the button back after starting. The button on the 2015 has solved that problem, but changing the unit removed the hazard switch, which I miss from time to time.

On my capo you hold down the turn signal to get hazards.
