Suggested crankshaft for the 2014 aprilia sr 50 r

I'm going to be ordering the stage 6 sport pro mk2 70 kit and I've been advised to change the crankshaft due to it having over 11,000 kms on the standard one.
Should I buy another standard crank?

Other tuning suggestions welcome and appreciated

ok. for that you need a full circle crank and 3 bearings/ 2 new seals and most importantly a reed valve spacer to lower the primary compression a little.

if you cant find any reed spacers available - i can make you one from scratch.

aircooled? better of with the topperf trophy- the exhaust port can let the heat out for 9hp solid engine. the others only 8 hp.... the s6 sport will be a money pit and never see more than 10 hp for a few miles before it melts the rings off the next time the wind blows in your face.

for liquid cooled - better off with a 12hp topperf 2plus 70cc and a yasuni city 16. 1200 usd to build

I think the Stage6 Sport Pro MKII might be a little overkill unless you like changing piston rings every 500 miles.

This is what I would personally get if I wanted good, yet reliable power. You're at about 425 not including rollers, clutch, belt, re-jetting, a couple spark plugs, and the other little things that nickel and dime you until you get the setup just right.

I've been doing some reading on this and it seems that the Stage6 cylinders are hit or miss with quality. Top Performance does make some mighty fine sports cylinders for about the same cost. They have a couple different cast iron options which are great for everyday riding and longevity.

The 2 piston ring setup will not allow for as high of an RPM, but will create more stability for the piston causing a decrease in cylinder wear.

again if its aircooled and driven in traffic a simple trophy 70cc kit - a yasuni r and a vforce reed and a 17mm carb and its done besides a 5000rpm clutch. ---that is about 10hp.

so wich carb do you guys get stock? the 17.5? then a yazuni r or c16/city 16. a vforce reed. the tp 2plus 70cc and tp crank. a malossi 5000rpm fly clutch.

    - if you get the c16/city 16 you also need a malossi 2000 variator and rear torque convertor half. you might be ok with the yasuni r if you dont want to change the variator and rear torque convertor.

    ----
thats how i see a decent midrace kit - but the carbs will be a night mare if you go and delete the airbox and fuck the build up by switching carbs.

    --
leave the carb and needle and airbox all matched together. no need to shoot yourself in the foot

if i were you i would get the city 16 and keep the carb and airbox and needle all stock. the peakyness of the regular c16 will be harder to dial in the stock carb.
