    DD1200 ecu reflash

    Just did my first DD1200 yesterday
    after 2 years working on RSV4/TuonoV4 (same ECU), finally got occasion to work over one ot this big twins

    Used lastes 1338EA7 map as base.

    Bike had de-katted Arrow silencers and DNA stage2 filter. Here below the results (did not yet did individual cylinder mapping with 2 wideband lambda's, will do that today. Yesterday i've only used one wideband):

    as you can see in the first picture, bike arrived on the dyno with 15w50 Motul V300 oil... it was a lot noisy after some pulls, so we did an oli change on the dyno using fresh ENI 10w60. Way better sounding motor!

    What can you do with a Caponord 1200?
    Maybe it will be worth a trip from sweden to Roma!

    Yes, i'm tooled for it. I've already did a test re-flash over a Caponord in February, but i'm still searching for a test-bike to finalize the base tuning over my dyno.

    it's all the same Marelli 7SM ecu family, not much differences from the RSV4 ecu, even the Traction control mapping is similar. Once done with the Caponord i'll move to the Guzzi Caliafornia 1400 re-flash (basically same ecu too).

    It would be interesting to see what gains could be made with standard exhaust and air filter versus this bike.

    here a datalog screenshot from dyno wide open throttle pulls: in yellow RPM and AFR from stock map comparing with the graph in pink were RPM and AFR are from one on my early stage map with ignition advance and throttle openings still not changed, but fueling roughly adjusted, and rised rev limiter. wideband lambda probe fitted in the exhaust Y prior of the Arrow cans.
    You can see how lean is the motor with the stock map in the lower rpm range, but fueling is about spot-on above 7500 rpm:
