Nothing today as I am at work, however tomorrow I will be fitting a Diode in the headlight switch to bring on all three bulbs when on main beam, fitting a 16T front sprocket to improve the low speed running and finally changing the front calliper bolts for stainless steel ones from Probolt.

I will then sit and look at it as I'm unable to ride the bike following breaking my collarbone and 10 ribs in Nepal 5 weeks ago when I came off a Royal Enfield Bullet on a biking holiday.

    Desperado

I'm cheating as this was yesterday but... I took the Capo for a nice 400km ride then, when I came back removed the hand guards. Today is going to be 42 deg Celsius where I live (that's 107 Fahrenheit) so I'll take any extra breeze I can get. I'll put them back on as we head into winter.

42 degrees celsius? I feel so sorry for you. It's a comfortable 4 degrees C here in (not so) sunny Scotland.

Tried to start my bike after 6 weeks OS, topped up the battery, then spent the next hour trying to get the bike to turn over on & off. After a lot of false start, misfiring & smoke, she's purring happily again. I can only presume she flooded, but with all the computer control it feels impossible to turn over until it's good & ready.

It was a new experience for me. Not sure if it was flooded, or if the fuel was blocking the injectors (or perhaps a rat in the tail pipe?) Either way, it would try to start, bog down & splutter smoke. Once I got it going it started happily every time afterwards, including thankfully this morning as I headed off to work.

That's bizarre, wonder if you had some dodgy fuel. Longest I have gone without starting mine would be a month and it started with no issues.

That's what I've been quoted too. My warranty runs out in April so might put it in for a full service before then to find any possible issues.
