    I must agree.

You must invest your money where youīll find your bikeīs soft spots.

I use GP-shift and a Dynojet shifter (coupled to a Powercommander) and it is VERY useful! I canīt go back to normal gear pattern.

And I must say I use normal shifter on my road bikes and it is very very rare to miss a shift. Once youīre on the track, youīll plug in your "GP-shift-chip" in your brain and thatīs it

I would suggest Brembo racing discs (they make a huge difference) and top quality racing pads.

As for the suspension, go for OEM Ohlins (best thing out there budgetwise) in the rear and front. I am racing my mille with OEM Showa fork but itīs not nearly as good as the Ohlins unit. I am looking for a good deal for ages and keep using my Showa till hit happens some day.

I have OZ wheels and didnīt notice much of a difference but the lap-timer disagrees.

Leave the engine mods to the end...and when the time comes, go for a race-chip (I have a Gabro custom made chip), double exhaust set-up and intake mods (EVO airbox + KN will do the trick)

The most effective mod was obviously working on my body fitness and endurance. You have to be fast the whole race...not just the first 3 laps

It doesnīt work like that on the Mille as you have the gear lever bolted directly to the shaft. You canīt reverse it.

You have to use rear-sets to reverse the pattern.

How about using the shift linkage from a Falco?

From all accounts, Showas built with aftermarket valves (Penske, GP, K-tech) outperform the OEM Ohlins.

save some money and fit a modded collector this eliminates the flat spot in the midrange by giving you that 10bhp gives an nice kick out of corners
Below are figures for one of my collectors all within an hour and plug and play there would be better results with co levels set to suit the new collector or new map on a pc3

I cannot send messages, but I am interested in a modded collector. What's the cost? Does it change the sound of the exhaust much?

The collector mod is the economic way to get rid of that middle-rpm HP dip.

The sound changes a bit but is not as good as a 2-2 system IMHO.

    The collector mod :
