    Power Distribution Block

    Hi All

I have made a power distribution block for my Caponord.
Its nice and small 50x50x25mm and fits on top of the rear coils under the seat.

I am running my heated grips, Sat nav & Led running lights from it.

I had seen a few other power distribution products on the internet but thought them very over priced and on the large side so went off and made my own.
The screw terminals are rated to 15amps but look like they could take a lot more.

The other terminal is a Wago cage clamp connector and each teminal is rated to 16amps
I went for this type of connector as they are easy to terminate to and just require the wire stripped and a terminal screw driver to push the cage clamp open.
Then just insert the wire and your done.
They will not vibrate loose and take 28AWG to 12AWG wire sizes.
    A great connector!!

The PCB has been potted into the box and is safe from the elements.
And comes with a lid that can be taped on for extra protection from other objects.

I am hoping others will like and if interested go to full production and make some more.
I think it a good alternative to the others I have seen with over inflated amp rating of 30 to 60amps!!!

Looks really tidy and all the bits and bobs go to one terminal. Will it have a switched live so the the battery isn't flattened if you leave the grips on when you stop.

I have wired mine to a relay so it all turns off with the ignition.
