There is a triangular piece of plastic attached to my ignition key. I don't know what it's for. Does anyone have any ideas?

Key fob?
I have been advised by my local dealers that in the old days ( whenever that may have been) it was an tyre pressure gauge.
It became expensive to produce lots of these so Aprilia switched to making rubber mouldings of it. I suppose that is why its got holes in the bottom.
There must be more to it than that... if it is just a key fob, or was a pressure gauge, shouldn't it also be available at Aprilia's e-shop (along with the caps, tee shirts, and other tools).
I'm not sure we've gotten to the bottom of this yet.
I expected the bit of plastic to have some purpose since (if it was just a keyring) it could have been much simpler or more elegant.
The dealer I bought the bike from had no idea but they have only been around for a couple of years so the idea of a tyre pressure guage seemed reasonable however I do agree that if that was the case Aprilia should continue to sell them.
At the end of the day it is not a big deal for me. I just thought someone else might know the answer!!!
