What have you done to your RSVR today?

'All' the others are having a topic like this but we RSVR-department not (? at least I did not find it) so here it is .

Last sunday I got my lowering kit installed (rear dropped 1") and with the same wind did drop 2 lines more from the front ( was allready 3 lines so now 5 x 5 mm= same 1") so the bike should be at the same line as coming out of the factory . Now it's nice to get good touch with the ground when stopping etc.

My right mirror has been 'smoggy' on the speeds so I opened it yesterday and tightened the spring of the mirror - now I can see actions clearly behind me.

Someone has pointed that those mirrors are just for those sideblinkers but atleast I (with 177 cm/ 72 kg/ driving with quite straight elbows) can use them nicely.
    I'm a (triathlo)nist, that's why I've joined A(prilia) & A(udi) club.

The only thing I need to do with my RSV is wash it. It's been weeks, but it's been hot and I've been lazy....

Swapped on a set of CRG levers and Graves sliders. I was going to chop of the mud flap but decided I can do that this weekend, when I get the first oil change done. I'm at something like 425 miles on the odometer, since picking her up on Friday.

I did swap levers earlier this summer, I did find a set 30 dollars/ delivered from China, I thought that 'no matter the quality there's no loss!' but when I got those in my hands I was to say 'not bad', nicely CNC-machine worked pieces - a local supplier ask's from alike's 300 d/ pair.

Only 425 miles? What year is it? I have one CRG lever for the brake but I have the stock lever for the clutch. Did you have any trouble installing the clutch lever?

On my new to me 07 RSV I added quick release pins to the seat which turned out to be a bit of a pain since the the seat would not realign easily back into place. An issue I did not have with my 01... Then it got me thinking.

Why did I do this again?

Rode it to the local dealer so they could take pictures of it to get approval for the swingarm recall. Broke down on the way home and had it towed. No error code will appear when lap button is pushed and key turned on. It only continues to display "err". Neutral light won't come on nor will the fuel pump. Red triangle and sidestand light stay light. So, what did I do to my RSVR today? I kicked it.

Cleaned it. Front wheel is a pain in the ass to do.
Fuck Aprilia! If they'd stop making awesome bikes, I'd have more time and money for hookers, and blow, and blackjack!
