    Extra Power Points for Accesories

There is a USB port under the rear seat which is only on with the ignition, it's enough to power/charge a phone when you are on the move

There is also a switched 12v under the panel behind the clocks for a Sat Nav, cutting the plug off and adding one of these allows you to power a generic type Sat Nav

If you run a cable to the front of the bike
    S
Shown to the left of the speedo is one of these from CTEK it is a Battery/ charging indicator and socket/ charger input.

This comes with longer wires than shown (1.5m) so will run from the battery to the dash, into this you can plug in a charger when the bike is stood for a while or a power lead to power 12v equipment

One of these from Bluesea can be added in the line from the battery to the CTEK socket.Mine is hidden in the photo by the left handle bar.

This enables me to power stuff in the tank bag (Tablet) and also power the Drift Ghost when it is mounted on the right front indicator stalk

Thanks Globalone. That's helpful. Picked up my bike this afternoon, so very new to me. The manual mentions fuse for GPS, but doesn't mention where connection is.

    Remove screen 4 off bolts
Remove fake carbon cover 2 off bolts
Remove next cover that holds top of clocks 2 off bolts
Find wire with gps socket ( Item 12)

I assume that the item 12 you're referring to is the black plug and not the two white ones?

Hi Globalone. Just looking at wiring up for Sat Nav, and have found the connector, or at least I think I have. Item 12 in your wiring diagram shows a Blue and Orange/Green, although my wires are Blue and Green. Pic attached. BTW, where did you get the wiring diagram from? Looks useful. From a configuration management point you should identify the component by the wire colours as there is no guarantee that the plug colours are the same across the bikes, the one in the photo should pull out a length and looks the same as my GPS one, it should have a thin second colour on the blur wire

My bike had black (1 off ) for GPS and clear / white (2 off )for heated grips

If you would like an english wiring diagram send me a pm with an email.

Also of interest is item 14 on the wiring diagram - "Quickshift switch". The Caponord with a QuickShifter; very interesting.......!

I really, really, really want a quickshifter! I had one on my old bike and I'm now of the belief that every bike should have one.

For those wondering which plug is what.

The large black plug at the bottom right is the GPS. This is a switched 12V* Rather than cutting it off, a standard 2-pin plug with some electrical tape to secure it might just do the job. I'll experiment with something like http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView...SUBCATID=991#1 when I get the chance. I just didn't think to measure the pitch when I had it out.

The matching pair in the middle the Heated Grips. Interestingly these were carrying 12V* when the bike is switched on too, even without grips connected.

The Blue/Green wires to the left are for the anti-theft LED, if you've got the anti-theft system fitted.

*Not regulated, so varies with the rest of the charging system.

That's a dedicated Tom Tom plug designed to be pulled up behind the screen and used with the dedicated Tom Tom sat nav mount. I cut mine off and used a two way plug in its place and connected my Zumo to it.
