Now what happens if we already had the part replaced under warranty last year? Will they have to check if the part installed was an updated/unaffected unit? Or is it automatically replaced again?

Same here. I knew the dealer took the replacement manifold from another Tuono (with blown up engine). I asked them to check the donor's bike VIN and it's in the recall list as well! So, the dealer will replace manifold again. But this time I insisted on installing the aluminum one (I buy the part, they put it in for free).

Damn. Is this that little Y join in the cooling system? I had mine crack on a 40 degree day and i had to push my bike 2km to the dealer. I almost died.

Nope, have to wait till all the coolant is on the outside of the bike, then call your local dealer and order the part.

Yes, as long as your VIN shows as needing it

Could someone be as so kind as to mark-up an engine/part diagram highlighting the location of likely failure point.
    Thanks.

From what I understand that only applies to bikes in Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama! Oh crap, I'm in Georgia......

Just talked to a dealer on the phone, they said for me to look on the right side of the bike at the black tube there and if it had a yellow dot, I'm okay. If no yellow dot, then I'll need to bring it in. Dealer is 2 hours one-way from me. Any truth to this? Ed said my VIN is active on the recall...
