FS- Akrapovic EVO 6 repair kits

    ***SOLD, THANKS!***

Welp, I thought I was being smart (which should have been my first warning). My RSVR has the early Akrapovic full system and was rear ended just over a year ago. I needed (and still do) new exhaust cans. Both were dented badly and at about center, so not enough left to cut them shorter.

I did a bunch of homework. My 'EVO I' cans are 500mm long, the oval measures 106mm by 132mm, and have a 60mm inlet. The slip on Ti Akra cans are 450mm long, the same oval dimensions, and 51mm inlet. The EVO 6 cans are 400mm, 65mm inlet, and I thought I found that the oval dimensions were the same. I found these http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scrip...dproduct=38251, and was sure they would work if I cut the inner exhaust tube 100mm shorter. James at AF1 was very nice and wasn't sure they would work, but I told him for the money savings, I'd take the chance and it's on me if they don't. Haha! They don't. The oval is both wider and taller than my cans, so the inlet and outlets from my old ones are nowhere near close enough to fit.

So pictures are below. Two brand new repair kits for the EVO 6 exhaust cans. Included in each is a new Ti oval can, straps and rivets, and Akrapovic decal. If you have the EVO 6 system and don't need them now, rat hole them away for when you might. You'll save $50 plus shipping, and who knows if they'll be available in the next few years? I'll take $200 total, including shipping in the lower 48. I'll ship them in the same box and packing material I got them in this morning. Paypal is fine.

    Thank you kindly!

68W, the clear packing tape around the styrofoam 'boxes' is very yellow, like they've been on the shelf for a few years. I know AF1 had a few sets of the EVO 6 full system made, but honestly if I had a bike with the EVO 6 I'd buy these just to have around. I paid $125.99 twice plus shipping, so I'll lose $52 plus shipping selling them at this price. My fault, certainly not the end of the world. But I'll betcha they'll be hard to find in another couple of years.
