    2012 vs 2013 RSV4 Factory

I found a left over 2012 RSV4 factory for $18000 yesterday. Should I go for it or wait for a 2013 Factory which is $24000? What would you guys do?

First thing I want to know is....... why a 2013 Factory would cost you $24000 ??

Did Aprilia lower the prices? I'm sure I've seen it around $22999 at some point in time.

    I'd save another $5k and buy a left over 2012 RSV4R for $13k, but that's me.

I'd go for the 2013 if the means were there. There are alot more to them than the ABS

Sorry to resurrect from the dead but if you had the option for a new 2012 factory or a slightly used 2013 factory (~100 miles) for about 1100 pounds more which would you choose. Is it worth the extra ~2000 USD?? It is not going to be driven on the street much and be the start of a project before it turns into a track toy.

If it's strictly track, I'd go with the 2012. But I'd try to get the price lowered.

Don't be a road crayon, wear your gear, the road doesn't care how "cool" you think you look when it's busy cheese grading your skin.

Aprilia is claiming a few more HP for the 2013 model through some refinements. I think someone posted something about the claimed HP is also only a euro spec RSV4. If that is true, why is that? Better quality gas so better mapping?

Read the same thing. Only Euro spec got it. I would go newer MY if it were up to me.
