    HI
Stay in touch. I ride most every weekend.
Short rides, mid-length rides, longer rides....
One day trips though, not generally overnite.

Mostly north GA and into TN, NC.

On the street, the "line" should be confined by a "lane".
If the road is too tight, find a straighter one. Why waste a good turn?
If you think it's a racetrack and you need to use the whole width, go ride on one instead.

And yes, I have ridden Blood Mountain - with enthusiasm - several hundred times.
I have also waited hours down the side in the trees with a paralyzed rider who would still be there if someone else had not seen him go off.
He was riding it like it was a racetrack.

Sorry to preach. Some things need to be said.

Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional...

So it goes in the state that James L. Petigru, anti-secessionist and former South Carolina attorney general, long ago described as “too small to be a republic and too large to be an insane asylum.”

It's like George Carlin once joked: You know a person with average intelligence? Now realize that half of everybody else is stupider than that.

Blood Mtn is fun, but there are soooooo many more roads in N GA. Generally speaking, we can make, two or three, six hour loop day trips.

I made a run on the T up through Elijay to Morganton and then 60 over to Suches/Dehlonega/Rider's Hill yesterday. Saw two bikes down, 1 on the mountain where there was a TON of cinders/rock from the bad weather last week (looked like a late model CBR) and another down just west of the rockpile on 60 (GSXR). There were plenty of people stopped so I kept moving. I had a great ride - others didn't and I hope they were okay. Don't know the circumstances but both were single bike wrecks - no collision with a car.

Was a beautiful day for riding.

    Hi,
    Setting up a ride Sunday.
Meet at the Canton Starbucks on Riverstone at 10am.
Will be home in time for the Superbowl.

Hopefully the rain washed the sand and salt off the roads, without washing gravel on to them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Supposed to be 40-50 deg.
    Bring heat !
