    Question Anyone on a 520 Conversion ?

Has anyone done a 520 chain & sprocket conversion yet ? The options look few and far between....

This is the only explicit kit I can find --> http://www.pbr.it/index.php?option=c...mid=99&lang=en

There seems to be a lot of 520 options out for the RSV4, Tuono etc so I'm wondering what is compatiable with the Shiver & Dorso. (I've read that there is a slight offset differences on the rear between Aprilias but details are thin...)

From looking at AF1's store page, I have deduced that you can use a kit that fits any 09-12 RSV4, 06-10 and 11-12 Tuono.

I believe that is the case. I used a rear sprocket for the RSV4 on my DD; perfect.

Not yet - but definately on my to do list !

After a little more research, PBR looks to be the only 520 option with a rear greater than 45T....

I went with DID 520 chain and a 48T anodized aluminum sprocket on a DD. The bikes performance has changed for the better! Much quicker!

I went with 15/44 when I swapped to 520 size. Wanted to keep it close to stock gearing but lose as much rotating mass as possible. SuperLite steel rear sprocket weighs about as much as any aluminum I've compared. Bike definitely spins up a bit quicker.

Fairly good thread about the whole shebang... http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/s...d.php?t=321550
