Vid from Sunday... another kak winters day in Africa

The guy I'm following is a spritely young chap of 76 years old... an ex F1 racing driver from the days when cars had tyres smaller than our bikes! Hope I'm still riding that well when I'm his age

Micke.. the K2 is a great tyre. I ride every Sunday (weather permitting, in Winter) so that's why I use the K3 on the rear. K2 on the front lasts very well on road and once a month at the track. I tried the K2 on the rear but road riding wears it out pretty quickly.

Sorry Micke, I can't remember how long the K2 lasted on the rear but it sure wasn't long. A friend on a Tuono is trying the Supercorsa SP (which is apparently the Endurance compound) and he's very pleased. He road rides and comes to our track days every month - he's a quick rider in the fast group and has taken 1.5secs off his times from using the Rosso Corsa... and the tyre looks to be lasting well.

Hey there PRC001, are you happy with the screen? It seems to stand off the bike quite a bit when seen from the riding possie. I've just ordered a tinted MRA from Lithuania of all places and expect it to land in Sydney this week sometime.

I really like it and it works very well.

One of the guys omitted the 'raised brackets' on the top 2 screws so his screen sits a lot lower. I can't do that as I changed my brake master cylinder and reservoir so it would hit the screen if I lowered it. If you have the standard brake set-up, leave the brackets off and put 3-4mm rubber spacers in their place.

sparkle i got mine from lithuania also they are reliable it will turn up, the packers that hold the screen of a bit are needed to make the screen work so well, air flow under the screen is there to help counteract the vacumne caused by air passing over the top giving you good even air flow, becarefull not to drill the lower hole in the existing lower part of the faring to large to fit the new grommet type fixing, you will see when you fit it hey they work very well and are really quiet

Good point Dave.. hadn't considered the air flow underneath. That's why its so quiet behind the screen
