    Radar Detector

So where do you place your radar detector? (and no body parts as the answer) With a wind screen it sort of cuts down the mounting points if you know what I mean. It almost seems like on top of the brake fluid cap or under the handlebars. Then pray for low wind, which is less likely when you have the darn thing in the first place.
    Look out for that tree!

Any number of handlebar mounted Ram mounts available. Seems like the most logical place.

To mount my little video camera I made a 2mm stainless steel bracket drilled and bent to fix under the left hand mirror with a suitable fitting on top. Works very well. I'll post a piccy if you're interested. If not I'll just climb back in my little hole.

That won't work for GT users unfortunately unless you get a super long rod to get clearance over the dash and screen so the V1 can see down the road...

Bro, sorry to say it, but that looks butt ugly on the bike! Take it off...you cannot possibly go that fast on the jersey turnpike anyways given traffic and construction these days...right?

Not gonna happen, it isn't there for aesthetics but functionality and has saved my a** NUMEROUS times... I could have gone for a different unit I could have hidden somewhere but nothing beats a Valentine One IMHO so pretty or not it is there to stay. Not to mention it is actually hidden behind my brake reservoir I actually went out of the way to show pics of it from behind.

The fact is it has been on the bike for EVERY other pic I have taken and no one even noticed it until I took the close up shots.

Oh, BTW, we have more than the Jersey Turnpike in NJ as well... Believe it or not but we are up to like 3 roads up here these days not to mention all these other states like NY and PA I am allowed to ride in too!

"Oh, BTW, we have more than the Jersey Turnpike in NJ"

I have yet to ride this bike on the NJTP and still have managed to exceed 100mph (GPS) several times on I78, I80, and some Pine Barrens roads. Personally, I'd rather have a Deer Detector than Radar.
