    As mentioned,

    You should hook up HGT for testing. That will convince most of us to take the plunge or not. Just sayin..... Something to think about. Welcome to our forum btw

    True. On dyno always use a teethed belt. you can get some kind of readings with cvt with a very light inertia dyno, but again, cvt setup should be made on road...
    Dyno doesn't know a thing about your scooter aerodynamics, scooter weight, driver weight etc
    and this can change cvt setup a lot.

    Yes you may.

    I am opened minded when doing Dyno pulls with the transmission in place. The DynoJet SD12 being a scooter specific Dyno is a very close indication of what it will do on the road with the exception of wind resistance. I can see where a motorcycle Dyno would not work as well.
