True. On dyno always use a teethed belt. you can get some kind of readings with cvt with a very light inertia dyno, but again, cvt setup should be made on road...
Dyno doesn't know a thing about your scooter aerodynamics, scooter weight, driver weight etc
and this can change cvt setup a lot.

I am opened minded when doing Dyno pulls with the transmission in place. The DynoJet SD12 being a scooter specific Dyno is a very close indication of what it will do on the road with the exception of wind resistance. I can see where a motorcycle Dyno would not work as well.
