Couple quick q's about sprocket sizes and tail tidy

I have read that a 17 tooth does not fit on the rxv!

A 16 will fit if you flip it over, but you will need longer spacers for the guard. Never tried a 17 on a RXV...

lol, there was a particularly quick DRZ on my commute this morning, the guy was fully decked out in all the mx gear and he was giving it the large one with wheelies, stoppies and backing it in at the stop lights, then racing away when they went green. Pulling away from one particular set of lights I thought I'd show him some real power, but the front wheel went up in the air unexpectedly which surprised me - probably looked quite cool but if you'd seen my face behind my dark visor it would have told a different story

The Indy was in my home city last week and usually brings in a lot of exotic cars...I had the pleasure of blowing in between a Mircialago and some Ferarri thing in 3rd gear on my back wheel while they were racing light to light.

lol, I was out and about on the streets a month or so ago and was suddenly behind two Ferraris - the drivers were friends cos they were kind of showing off to eachother and revving up their engines when they went under bridges etc, under one particular bridge after they revved their engines I blipped my throttle behind them and the silmoto sounded so much louder and scarier than their exhausts - the looks on their faces in their rear view mirrors was a picture! hahaha

Could I run a 17 front 42 rear on an rxv550 for street use ?

And do you think the 42 is to small for the rear ?

I don't know anyone that put a 17 on an RXV . . .

My RXV450 has a 40 on the rear now !

The front is the stock 15 tooth.

Works out GREAT for me.
