Exclamation here's a bug (insect) for you.

Flew into me while I was fueling up today.
It's about 4 inches long... I found the answer on "whatsthatbug.com". Looks like a female Dobsonfly.

It hit me in the head actually. I felt some wings hitting me in the head, and thought a grasshopper flew into me.....until KAB showed me where it landed. I then started running around with my arms flailing, screaming like a little girl...

Hey Twinz.... We were just in your neck of the woods a couple of weeks ago! Stayed up in Stowe at the Gables Inn actually. We did a few of the Gaps between 100 and 7, ran up to Smuggler's Notch, and lastly ran out to Groton Park for rt 232(I think).

Nice. Did you name it? Buy it a leash or something...
I am not here. What is "here"? Isn't "here" just "there" without a "t" ?

I wish I had known you were here (but my bike was dead at the time...fuel pump harness issues)! Our roads are in pretty bad shape...232 (the Groton Road) is a really great short ride when the pavement is good...glad you found that one! Please let me know next time you get up our way.

Looks like something out of a horror movie - here in Idaho, the only thing you have to worry about hitting you are tourists and texting tennagers

I should have placed my boot beside it for comparison, but I was afraid it may have gnawed my foot off.

Found this pic online of a male Dobson..

Dat's one big ugly bug! Big enough to attach a spy cam to. You sure there were no batteries?

Good reason to keep your face shield down - always.
