Well, maybe some of you do have a little sense of humour after all.

All the Aussies I have met in person have had a great sense of humour and have been fun to be around.
The rest of ApriliaForum reinforces this impression. But not this subforum.

For quite some time the broach of any subject possibly relatable to Casey Stoner OR Valentino Rossi OR any conceivable connection between them has been met with a prickly, pro-active, pre-emptive retort from the Southeastern Demihemisphere. This is what I mean by the discussion becoming tedious.

Stoner’s time with the Ducati has been vindicated.
    Stoner is World Champion.
Stoner is usually the fastest guy out there.
Rossi and Burgess can’t do squat with the Ducati.
No one calls Stoner nasty names any more.

You might wait until someone actually intentionally insults Stoner before just going off.
    Your work is done.
    Time to lighten up.

Here, here, time to lighten up, maybe for all, not just the Australians.

The quote "I hate sensitive people" is a standard joke among Texans of my generation. I think this is a classic lost in translation phenomena.

that is fucking bad ass. i've never bumped into any pro riders at the track (or if i did i didn't know it). you should keep a gopro or something permanently attached to your track bike for moments like that. and nice to hear wayne is still riding and having fun on a bike.

It goes hand in hand with saying "you need thicker skin".
