Hi, I am considering purchasing an MP3 400 from a local shop that will service them. He has two, 2009s for sale. I would like to hear from owners what your experience with these machines has been.

Is it reliable?

Is it expensive to maintain and fix if/when something goes wrong?

How hard is it to find someone qualified to work on them? (We tend to move every few years.)

Does it cruise well on the freeway (65-70) without redlining? What is the rpm at that speed? The spec sheets say max speed is 88. I have no plans to go THAT fast but I would like to be able to keep up with my husband's Harley going 60 to 65 on the two-lane country roads.
