I got the one AF1 offers as a replacement to the OEM one for the stock airbox. Seems to be working great. The OEM one was falling apart.

iv just bought a pedmoto air filter sheet for my 125 (suitable from 50cc to 500cc) you get a A5 sheet and cut it to shape of your box for £10 from adrenalin pedstop

    pedmoto sheet for RS50:

apperently its the same as the polini one just different colour and branding (i have used both now and very pleased as you can feel that it runs just that bit healthier)

polini one for RS50: (OUT OF STOCK AT THE MOMENT) but adrenalin asured me the pedmoto one is exactly the same

I got some cheap imitation airfilter element wich looks exactly like the red malossi one (material), only black.

pedmoto is defenatly not the same as the polini airfiltersheet... polini is a difrent material with a sound damping structure, and the pedmoto is by the looks of it the same stuff as mine and the malossi elements are made of.

So maybe A.P. was confused with the Malossi, or they where just talking B.S. to sell you something you didnt really want.

Anyway i think the pedmoto filter is fine.

i did order the polini one origionally (showed IN STOCK) got a email saying it was dispatched so thought all good

next day received a call that they must of sold out just before my order and they were in fact not in stock however they could offer me the pedmoto version which "they say" is exactly the same apart from branding so they could either offer me a A5 sheet of pedmoto air filter and loads of stickers thrown in for the trouble or refund me completely....my old air filter was ruiined, wouldnt be surprised if its as old as the bike its that used and the bike ran a bit weird with it too so i just toke the pedmoto one - they said its suitable for 50cc to 500cc due to its pourosity

since fitting it runs so smooth, along with a clean carb and plug

i had the polini one on my SR50 as i was running stock filter with a few mods, again once fitting the polini one you could feel the difference and a slightly deeper note

I always say to people that standard air box is the way to go with a good quality panel filter, I've got an after market one sat on my bike and I know for a fact it's doing no good at all and whether or not it's been upjetted...
