how many user names could or should be changed to clueless?
We should have a poll...
Lots, but this is the Internet remember.
i'm an avg. guy, but i play a Dr. on the interwebs
I was completely clueless just over a year ago, but I've learnt a lot from this awesome forum. We all gotta start somewhere![]()
Its scarey when you read some of these posts, how much money some people are chucking at problem after problem.......farting about with stuff they dont have any idea about, some must have 2 bikes by now with all the parts they are buying trying to get the thing running....
No wonder these bikes are said to be problematic...its the owners............there is something to be said for the term, "if it aint broke dont fix it "
If it aint broke, bling it...
A pessimist is always alone....An optimist is two people away from a threesome

ha ha like it
I do agree that if it ain't broke don't fix it, but for those 'clueless' people on here with real problems they are trying to sort out on their bikes, and no trusted garage within easy reach, then sometimes the only option is to fart about with stuff they don't have any idea about.
This forum is a valuable resource with some genuinely clever and helpful members (who were all also once clueless), for me personally the only way I'm going to learn something is by getting my hands dirty and learning stuff the hard way which I have done and will continue to do.
All I can say is props to all the clueless owners who have got their hands dirty and learned something, it's the pioneering spirit that advances human kind![]()
What about the ones out on the road riding death traps, with oil pissing out all over the place, exhausts glowing red as fire engines, fuel leaking, clutch cables snapping....if thats learning the hard way, please give me the easy way any day.....
Yes the forum is exellent, with some real experts and professionals, I am only making an observation on an already started thread......
If you want an apple buy an apple not an orange and then try to make it taste and feel like an apple! Hands down an excellent place with excellent advice from truely knowledgeable professionals who must get frustrated and laugh hard from day to day. The title was to be something to laugh about not to insult! just had to say something after reading past posts.
Theres a few lemons been bought.....thats for sure....![]()
